I’m “Lost”

Alright. I’ll be straightforward with you from the start. I’m kind of a noob when it comes to tumblr (I have another acct but it lays dormant bc reblogging from my iphone was confusing… and didn’t want to work and let me get back to the previous page, blah blah blah). I chose tumblr as my medium for this project because:

a) I want to learn how to use it. I love the tumblr’s I stalk.
b) It’s photo/text friendly and that part seems simple enough to do
c) I got to pick a fun web address. (don’t lie, that’s part of the appeal for you, too)

          Lost

Alright. Here we go.

In 2004, a television series about a group of plane crash victims stuck on a remote desert island grabbed everyone’s attention. Even people who didn’t give a crap knew some stuff about Lost, via their coworkers, friends, or family members who couldn’t stop talking about it. I started watching it and watched it every week for the first two seasons. I was pretty invested because (like the majority of watchers) I had no idea what was going on half the time and there always seemed to be another secret waiting to be revealed that was going to solve this puzzle piece. Third season rolled around and I missed the first episode and then the second. By that point, I was lost (hah). So, I stopped watching. I have since forgotten everything about this show except some character names and that some numbers are important.

The series is over now (obv) and my bff Ben has been talking this show up for years trying to get me to watch it. At one point, he even went so far as to loan me his seasons 1-3 for over 6 months to a year to give me the opportunity to watch it. This blog is for him. Him and all my friends who have ever said, “But that show is so good” when the show was brought up in conversation and I said I’d given up on it. This blog is also for me. I am going to make comments and guesses about what is going to happen, what I want to happen, etc. I am actually excited about looking back on predictions and random thoughts and seeing how my perception has changed (or hasn’t) over the course of watching the show.

I ask that anyone reading this feel free to comment, but PLEASE do not spoil me. I want to learn things as I go and be just as confused as you were when you were watching it.
